Handset
repair and replacement of Garuda subscribers migrated
from
Matorola Network
As
per approval contained in Tariff Committee held on
15.2.2007 the policy on Handset Repair and Replacement
of Garuda subscribers migrated from Motorola Network is
as follows:

The
CDMA handsets of kyocera make issued to Garuda
subscribers in the down payment and EMI schemes will
be repaired by MTNL against any manufacturing
defects only for one year warranty period from the
date of issue of the handset.

After
one year warranty period customers can get their
kyocera handsets repaired from the vendor’s
authorized service centres.
List of such authorized service centres is
attached as annexure-A.

In
case Garuda subscribers want to replace their old
handsets they can purchase new CDMA handsets for
replacing their old handsets as per the following
schemes:
