do I change my passwords ?

providing a web enabled service called Internet User
Service through which one can see his/ her User Profile,
Detail Access Log and one can also change their
password.
To access this page one must have Internet Explorer 4.x
or above or Netscape Navigator 4.x with java script
enabled.
To visit these pages go to http://register.bol.net.in
and select Internet User Service at top right corner.

How
do I upload my web page on free space provide by MTNL ?

Depending
upon the plan type you have opted, you get a fixed web
space on MTNL server, which you can access as
http://web2.mtnl.net.in/~username
Webserver
upload :
* You can upload files
for personal web pages on MTNL using ftp from the command
line.
* ftp to
delhi1.mtnl.net.in
* Go to Command Prompt
* Suppose you want to
upload a file named index.html is in your local hard disk
under C:
* Now you are ready to
upload. Specify the type of file (ASCII (text) or Binary)
that you want to upload.
* Default file type is
Binary
* ftp >
ASCII (for text files) or
* ftp >
bin (for binary files)
* Now upload the file,
which you want to publish.
* ftp >
put index.htm
* You can upload
multiple files same way. Once you have finished uploading,
quit the session by issuing the command 'bye'
* ftp >
bye
* C: >
* Remember,
1. File names are case sensitive
2. The file you want as your homepage must be named
index.html (all lower case). Other useful ftp commands
which you may want to know
a. dir (to see the listing
for directories in your file)
b. del 'filename' (to
delete the file which you uploaded earlier)
c. get 'filename' (to
download file from server to local directory)
d. put 'filename' (to
upload file from local directory to server)
e. help (to learn more
about other ftp commands)
3. If you are familiar with FTP tools other then
through command prompt, and which are GUI based, you can
use them to upload files to your personal web pages.
