Data charges (Beyond free usage) in Rs./MB (pulse of 10kb) : customers shall be charged @Rs 3/- per MB for 3G plan and Rs 5/- per MB in HSDPA..
Customer willing to buy HSDPA USB data card from MTNL will be charged Rs.5000/- (plus tax as applicable) towards cost of HSDPA card and he will get HSDPA card along with one time 1GB free download to be used in one month only. He may take any of the 2G/3G plan. The card is downward compatible to 3G, EDGE and GPRS network.
The 2G customers shall not be able to subscribe any of the 3G data plan and HSDPA without conversion to 3G and similarly 2G GPRS plan shall not be available to 3G customer.
Existing customer shall be converted to 3G connection without changing the SIM
to USIM. i.e. 3G services shall be available to existing customer on conversion
on the same 2G SIM only.
The above tariff and packages are valid for MTNL, Delhi network only.

Subscriber can avail same data tariff charges while roaming in BSNL or MTNL Mumbai network in all plans without any extra roaming charge for data. |
Roaming charges for voice calls/SMS shall be as per 2G Budget plan.
Jodi offer:
New 3G customers will be provided 2G post paid connection at the time of sale/conversion without charging any charge as a complementary connection. The 2G connection in Jodi offer will be in Jeevansathi plan and will be given only to customers taking new 3G connection. Customers converting their existing connection to 3G will not get jodi offer.
The 2G complimentary connection given to the customer may be provided with the facility of making Video calls at the video call rates as specified for above 3G plans using compatible handset in 3G network area. The prescribed commercial formalities shall also be completed for the complementary connection.
The above schemes and package shall be available in Eastern Court, Jeevan Tara Building, Jorbagh, CGO, Laxminagar, BCP, Okhla and Nehru place Sanchar Haat.
The above mentioned 3G post paid tariff plan and Jodi offer on 3G postpaid plans are launched on a promotional basis for 90 days.
The scheme will be implemented w.e .f. 01.06.2009 to 29.08.2009
Note: The existing customer of 3G shall get automatically converted into the 3G welcome plan.
