MTNL
Delhi Telephones in cooperation with Escort Heart
Institute launched the Nations first Tele-Cardiology
Service at Janakpuri Telemart on 17-2-2000. It has
been decided by the competent authority that the
Telecardiology Service will be made available to the
public at large. The following guidelines are issued for
your kind consideration and neccessary action.
- The
ECG will be checked up by the trained staff of the
concerned Telemart.
- The
service will be made available to a customer on
payment of Rs. 50/- in cash at the Telemart
Counter.
- The
report of ECG and medical advice received on fax
from Escort Heart Institute will be given back to
the customer in an envelop. Receipt in r/o Rs.
50/- received from the customer may also be given.
- The
amount collected will not be shown as revenue and
has to be deposited under a separate head which will
be intimated later on. The utilization of the
amount so collected will also be communicated
after the decision in that respect is taken.
These
guidelines are issued in the interest of service and has
the approval of the competent authority.
