ONE INDIA PLAN
“One
India Plan” is going to be launched by MTNL from 1st
March, 2006. The
booking for this plan may start a few days ahead of the
launch date. Such
type of cases will be dealt in the following manner :
Landline
connection :
NTC
booking : NTC
connection for One India Plan can be booked under
a new Tariff Code 299.
Plan Conversion :
However, the existing customers can also opt to
change from the existing plan to this newly introduced
plan.
As a separate type of pulse is to be provided for these
subscribers by the switch room, extra care is to be
taken by the Switch Room staff.
In this regard, it may be noted that the above
type of cases will appear in Switch Room with Connection
Code as “One” and Tariff Code as “299”.
These cases are to be executed on 1st
and 16th of every month.
In other words, if a subscriber books a plan
conversion between the calendar dates 1-15, the plan
will be changed and effective from 16th of
that month. Similarly,
if the change is asked between the days 16-31, it will
be executed and effective from the 1st of
next month.
Any
subscriber under existing 1+1 scheme demands change of
plan to “One India Plan”, the same will be provided
only on the 1st telephone of 1+1 scheme.
In
case “Combo Plan 500” subscriber wants to change to
“MTNL One India Plan”, he should surrender Combo
Plan and he may take “One India Plan” along with any
of the existing Broadband Plans.
However, there shall be no registration charges
and security.
